Western Empire Baseball & Softball (WEBS) General Liability Notice

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Participation in youth baseball and softball involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other unforeseen incidents. By registering a child or participating in any WEBs activity, practices, games, tournaments, or events, all participants and their parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks.

Waiver & Release

In consideration of being allowed to participate, the undersigned agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless WEBs, its directors, officers, coaches, volunteers, and affiliated facilities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by New York law.

Medical Treatment

In the event of injury, the undersigned authorizes WEBs staff or volunteers to obtain emergency medical treatment deemed necessary. All costs associated with such treatment are the responsibility of the participant’s parent/guardian.

Insurance Notice

WEBs does not provide medical or accident insurance for participants. Families are encouraged to maintain adequate personal health coverage.

Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, and spectators are expected to uphold standards of sportsmanship, safety, and respect. Failure to comply may result in removal from activities without refund.
